We Want Your Stories! Check Out this Simple but Awesome Story from a Junior High in Idaho

Recently the E4A principles were taught to some athletes from Taylorview Junior High in Idaho Falls Idaho. Their principal who attended our Gordon Hayward event in August was sent this letter and picture from a parent who attended a Cross Country meet that Taylorview ran in.

“Nearing the conclusion of the cross country race, there was a team from Teton Middle School that needed to finish. Their last runner, wearing the #5 bib in the picture, was running by herself for over 10 minutes. With about 400m left in the race, a runner from another school, who had already run their race, joined by her side to encourage and cheer her on.They were joined by another, and another, and another runner, all from different schools…By the time this Teton MS runner had 100m left in the race, she was joined by at least 75 junior high runners, all encouraging and running alongside the final runner, until she crossed the finish line, when a tremendous cheer was raised by everyone in attendance. Notice how many Taylorview runners are by her side!! It was a moment that I will soon forget!!”

Great Job Taylorview Junior High!!!!!! We would love to hear other stories of how you are using your sportlight to bless others. Eyes up! Do the Work!
